The Wellness Philosophy

Designed as a Gallery for Rest

The wellness floor was conceived as a series of quiet, light-filled rooms rather than a single large facility. Pale marble, warm timber, and deep green planting create a sense of calm that feels both contemporary and distinctly Brisbane.

The pool deck uses large-format pale stone tiles that stay cool underfoot. Tropical plants in oversized concrete planters soften the architectural lines, while the spa and sauna areas use the same material palette, creating a seamless transition from wet to dry spaces.

A Heated Pool with a View

The main pool is a 25-metre heated lap pool finished in pale stone, with a shallow relaxation ledge at one end. It sits on the eastern edge of the wellness floor, catching morning light and offering a quiet view over the city rooftops.

  • The relaxation ledge is 30cm deep and furnished with submerged stone loungers.
  • The deck includes 40 sun loungers, 12 day beds, and 8 private cabanas available for reservation.

Quiet Rooms for Slow Mornings

The spa at Marble Ace is a series of four treatment rooms arranged around a small internal courtyard. Each room is finished in pale marble and warm timber, with adjustable lighting and a private changing area.

  • All treatments use Australian-made products with native botanical extracts.

The Hot Stone Ritual

The signature treatment is a 90-minute hot stone ritual that uses smooth basalt stones warmed in a purpose-built heater. The ritual is designed to release tension and improve circulation, and it is available as an add-on to any massage.

The ritual includes a foot bath, full-body massage, and scalp treatment. Stones are sourced from Queensland basalt and heated to a precise 45°C. The treatment is not recommended for guests with certain medical conditions; a consultation is required.

Sauna & Steam

Warm Rooms for Cool Evenings

Adjacent to the spa, the wellness floor includes a traditional Finnish sauna and a separate steam room. Both are finished in pale stone and timber, with glass doors that open onto a small cooling area with cold plunge showers.

  • The sauna is heated to 80°C with low humidity.
  • The steam room is maintained at 45°C with high humidity.
  • Both facilities are unisex and require swimwear.

The fitness centre is a bright, open room with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the pool deck. It is equipped with a full range of cardio machines, free weights, and functional training equipment, all arranged to avoid crowding.

  • The gym is open 24 hours for hotel guests with keycard access.

The pool and wellness floor is open daily from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Hotel guests have complimentary access with their room key. Day visitors can purchase a day pass at the spa reception, subject to availability.

  • Towels are provided; guests are asked not to reserve loungers for more than 30 minutes.

The pool and wellness floor is designed as a calm counterpoint to the energy of the casino floor. Many guests choose to spend a morning by the pool, an afternoon in the spa, and an evening enjoying the hotel's dining and entertainment options.

The casino floor is located on a separate level and operates as a physical venue only. No online gambling or betting services are offered. The wellness floor is open to all hotel guests regardless of casino participation.
