The Room
The Poker Room is designed as a sunlit gallery for play, with pale marble surfaces, floor-to-ceiling windows, and sculptural details. Marble tables feature integrated chip trays and card wells, while large windows offer views of Brisbane's skyline and tropical greenery. Custom lighting mimics natural daylight, reducing eye strain, and acoustic panels keep the room quiet despite active play.
Games and Formats
Daily cash games run from midday to late, featuring No Limit Texas Hold'em and Pot Limit Omaha. Blinds start at $1/$2 and go up to $5/$10. Minimum buy-in is 40 big blinds, maximum is 100 big blinds. Games are dealer-dealt with physical cards and chips, and the waitlist is managed by the poker room desk.
Weekly tournaments offer structured play with guaranteed prize pools and a friendly competitive atmosphere. Tuesday Night Turbo: $120 buy-in, 10-minute levels, starts 7pm. Saturday Deepstack: $250 buy-in, 30-minute levels, starts 1pm. All tournaments are freezeout format with no re-buys. Registration opens two hours before start time.
On select evenings, the room spreads mixed games for players who enjoy variety. Thursday Mixed Rotation: H.O.R.S.E. and 8-Game from 6pm. Stakes are $2/$4 limit and $5/$5 no-limit. Players vote on the game mix each hour, and the dealer calls the game to keep the action moving.

How to Join a Game
Visit the Poker Room desk to add your name to the waitlist or register for a tournament. The desk is located at the entrance to the Poker Room. Staff will ask for your name and preferred game or tournament. You can request a specific table or stake level. Wait times are displayed on a screen above the desk.
When your name is called, a staff member will escort you to your table and explain the current game. You can buy chips at the table or at the cashier cage. Minimum and maximum buy-ins are posted at each table. If you are new to the room, the dealer will briefly review house rules. You may request a seat change after one hour of play.
Dress Code and Entry
Smart casual attire is required in the Poker Room to maintain the hotel's sophisticated atmosphere.
All visitors must be 18 years or older and present valid photo identification.
